Snapshot Bio

Tom is a librarian. He is also a good friend of well known science fiction writer, Brad Linaweaver. He is the creator of the Infinity Trading Post, and allows various friends to also write in that universe. Tom is actively involved in the Points of Divergence Amateur Press Association.

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 10, 1960 and went through twelve grades of school pretty well, showing skill at writing and drawing. I dreamed of a career drawing comic books for DC Comics, (and only DC), but my skills were not up to the job. I tried college after graduating high school in 1978, but it did not go well, so in 1981 I left and entered the work force.

I had first submitted a science fiction story to Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine in 1980, but it was rejected. I did not write much more for ten years, but started again in 1990 with the help of Moon of Ice author Brad Linaweaver. I learned more about writing during a second, more successful stint in college.

I have had a number of jobs since 1990, and I am now working a good job in a grocery store; the job keeps me in money while I develop my writing career.

I am forty-five years old, red of hair and not in too good shape. My specialty in science fiction is alternate history. I hvae got a number of writing projects going, and I am glad that my stories in NOVA SF have entertained you all.
